Toilet Training

Current guidelines suggest that healthy children are developmentally ready to begin toilet training somewhere between 18 and 24 months. There are many things that impact on successfully accomplishing toilet training including the importance of all carers being on the same page with regard to toilet training; the presence of individual and family stress; toddlers developmental stage and temperament; a toddler's physical and sensory processing abilities; and ability to remember the sequence of steps involved to name but a few.  This workshop will discuss different practical strategies that are age appropriate and respectful to help you assist your child in their toilet training.
