Fears, Worries & Anxiety (6 - 10 year olds)(Parent/Carer Workshop)
Some fearful reactions may be considered adaptive - they keep us alert in dangerous situations. For some children however, there is a point at when their fears, worries and anxiety begin to interfere with social, emotional and/or cognitive development. This workshop discusses this and other issues.

About The Event
Some children are naturally more anxious than others and these fears, worries and anxiety may include worries about school, social situations or physical harm. Most children grow out these worries and fears and there are typical fears at different ages and stages.
This workshop includes the latest research and will provide you with information on the different types of anxieties, practical tips and strategies on how best to support your child and whether or not your child’s fears, worries and anxiety are cause for concern or not.
